Conference Location:
Tel Aviv
University
The conference provides a Korean-Israeli forum for exchanging recent research ideas and practical achievements in all areas and applications of geometric modeling and computer graphics. The conference is a sequel to three highly successful previous conferences, two held in Korea (1998 and 2001) and one in Israel (1999). The conference provides a unique forum for the exchange of ideas and initiation of joint projects in a warm and collegial atmosphere.
The guest scientists from South Korea are leaders in their fields and have extensive industrial involvement. We expect that the conference will attract prominent researchers, key practitioners, and research students active in this rapidly growing field.
The conference is organized by three universities--Tel Aviv University, the Technion, and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem--and an industrial sponsor, the Israel Aircraft Industries. It is endorsed by the Israeli chapter of the ACM Special Interest Group in Graphics.
Excellent new papers presented at
the IK03 meeting will be invited for submission to two expected special IK03
journal issues, "Shape Modeling" and "The Visual Computer". The journal
publications will be extended versions of the IK03 papers.
